Arrived in Alberta – Grande Prairie

Arrived in Alberta – Grande Prairie

Our first research trip into Alberta.  It sends some chills up my back.  And at the same time it is a bit daunting at the work ahead.  It will be our second province in Canada, plus the two territories,  to go online on our CanadaEH.net Travel Network.   It will be a short visit though because in 2009 we will be coming back to research the whole province and will need to do some back tracking.

We decided we wanted to hunker down for a spell in a clean campground in a community with allot of amenities and stores so we could do a bit of maintenance and repairs.  We decided to call Grande Prairie our base camp for a week. And we selected  the Tamarack RV Park.  It was a good choice, run by good people with all the amenities you need for a camping and RVing plus some.

While in Grande Prairie we did some research and took allot of photos.  But more importantly, we could relax a bit  and enjoy the scenery.

Here is a photo of  Bro in the campground. We are basically both cleaning out our campers from the NWT trip.
