Here at Heffley Lake in Kamloops is a hiking trail located across the road from the campground. The trail explores up a mountain and is named the Embelton Trail. Since we have been here in Kamloops I have had my eye on it and today was the day to explore it. The sun was out, and I needed an energy fix.
While the Bro was out fishing, I packed up and decided to take off and go for a hike up the mountain.
The trail hikes up hill most of the way, cuts across a ridge that has been clear cut, and then up to a summit. At the summit is a picnic table, a sitting bench and peek-a-boo views.
