If you are a local Canuck or have visited Canada in the past or are planning to visit Canada in the near future then you will have plenty of adventures to share. The adventure could be an outdoor activity, a special event, a cultural experience or a Canadian history lesson.
There is a very good chance anyone who spends some quality time in Canada exploring, visiting, relaxing, researching and sightseeing will have many Canadian moments. Become an iExplorer and you have an outlet for sharing your favorite Canadian moment with fellow outdoor enthusiasts and travelers from around the world.
Have a favorite park, hiking trail, viewpoint, sandy beach, touring route, heritage site, ocean waterway, chain of lakes, river, mountain summit, picnic site or event? Are you knowledgeable about British Columbia wildlife, history and traditions. If the answer is yes, then you have a story to tell.
The iExplorer is a BLOG created for travelers, locals and advertisers for submitting and sharing adventure stories on the Internet about Canada. It is easy and quick once you have set up your iExplorer account.
First, the iExplorer BLOG system will ask you to set up an account name and a log-in password. Once you are logged in you will be asked to set up your iexplorer account with a picture, contact information, introduction and a pen name (nickname). Make sure to add an iExplorer desktop shortcut on your computer for quick access for future story submissions.
Once your account is approved you can begin submitting your adventures as an iExplorer. When you log into the BLOG an editor will prompt you for your submission. The editor will ask for your descriptive text and photos. Once you are finished your submission you click the upload button and your BLOG entry will be posted online.
EH TOURISM ADVERTISERS SPECIAL NOTE: If you are a current advertiser with a Photo Listing on any of our EH Tourism websites on our CanadaEH.net Travel Planning Network you can also add your tourism website link to your iExplorer signature. Each iExplorer submission will be another page on the Internet marketing your business!
RULES AND GUIDELINES
We would like to post every submission received so try to keep some of the following in mind when creating your account or when you are submitting a BLOG entry. We do NOT post press releases. The iExplorer BLOG is NOT for newsletters. We will NOT post anything self serving to a business.
Descriptive text is about the activity, the adventure and the destination. Include in your text wildlife sightings, beautiful viewpoints, picnic areas, distances, what to wear, markers on the adventure, history, difficulty levels, "points of interest", facts, etc. NO website links, emails, phone numbers are permitted in the descriptive text.
FROG Internet has the right to edit and format all submissions. FROG Internet can comment on any submission. FROG Internet can use any or all of the information from submissions for marketing and advertising purposes. FROG internet has the right to refuse any submissions and new account applications. We would like to post every submission so, keep these guidelines in mind when creating your BLOG.
